Cancellation & Rescheduling Policy

We understand that life happens. Our cancellation policy is designed to give you flexibility while protecting our team's scheduled time.

Cancellation & Rescheduling Fees

Notice Given Fee
24+ hours before service Free — no charge
Less than 24 hours $50 flat fee
No-show / lockout Full charge for scheduled service
Why these fees? When you book, we reserve our team's time and turn down other clients. Late cancellations mean our team loses paid work for that day. The $50 fee partially offsets that loss while keeping things fair.

How to Cancel or Reschedule

Three easy ways:

We confirm all cancellations and reschedules in writing. If you don't receive a confirmation within 4 hours, please follow up to ensure the request was received.

Recurring Service: Skip Without Penalty

Recurring customers (weekly, bi-weekly, or monthly) get extra flexibility:

Same-Day Bookings

Same-day bookings are typically not available through our online booker (booking dates start tomorrow). For same-day requests, please call us directly at (669) 200-1021. Same-day cancellations on same-day bookings are charged the standard $50 fee.

If MaidWave needs to cancel or reschedule (illness, vehicle issues, unsafe road conditions), we'll:

Locked-Out Visits

If our team arrives and cannot access your home (no key code, locked, no answer), we wait 15 minutes and attempt to reach you. If we still cannot enter, the full service fee applies. This is why we always confirm access details at booking.
